Luminous is a mage that was touched by the darkness in the Black Mage, and thus controls the powers of light and darkness. Luminous is one of the six Heroes of Maple World, the heroes that sealed the evil Black Mage from destroying Maple World. So pick the class you love the most regardless of what anyone says about it. In Maplestory, you’ll be able to reach endgame one way or another, with or without funding. Each class has its strengths and weaknesses, but at the end of the day, you should play the class you think is the most fun. “Bossing” refers to how well a class can fight (you guessed it) Boss monsters. “Mobbing” refers to how well a class can fight regular monsters. I’m going to be using the two terms “Mobbing” and “Bossing” in this article.
These are characters that are strong enough to reach endgame with just the equipment you pick up off the ground, and the money you’ll earn from questing. So, you won’t have to already have an endgame character with lots of money, to then give your new character so they can buy expensive equipment. So what makes a class good for unfunded players? Well, the whole point is that it’s a class that’s powerful enough to reach the endgame, with very little to no previous money going into the character.
